What do you think about someone who tells their child not to play with another child because she is poor and?

I can say its not a very Christian thing to say or do. You sound like a great parent, with awesome morals. Teaching your child that everyone is unique and that treating everyone with respect regardless of their ecomonic situation. Just tell your child the truth about the situation. Remind her that what her friend said about the other side was rude and insensitive, also ask her how she'd feel if someone said that about her. Empathy can be a great tool. This little girl and her mother sound like they could use some good friends, especially if the other mother is starting these kinds of rumors through her child.
