Should i twist my earring after getting the lobe pierced?

I use a antiseptic spray called Sterilear (purposely made for newly pierced ears), but other than that didn't get instructed on anything. It's just the lobe (1st piercing) so i dont know - should i twist the earring or not? And how/when should I, if i should? Do i wait a week? If i dont twist it, will the skin grow on the earring or something?
