Cartilage piercing?!?! ?

So I just pierced my cartilage by my self tonight. I'm really scared of infection because my parents wouldn't allow it so I did it anyways. I can't wear cheap earring in my regular ear part. This one was piercing earring and $50 for just 1. What should I clean it with OR should I take it out?
